Sara Palin for VeeP, Revisited

I normally agree with PA Watercooler and most of the opinions of the blog's creator, Alex Charyna.

But, his opinion that Sara Palin may not be able to run as John McCain's VeeP are pretty off-base:

Palin Definitely Not for VP

Unlikely that a new mom would be very aggressive on the campaign trail.

"Gov. Sarah Palin announced Wednesday she is about seven months pregnant with her fifth child. Palin said she is due to deliver in mid-May.

The governor says she knows the sex of the child but has not told her other children yet. Sarah and Todd Palin have children ranging in age from 6 to 18.

Let’s hope they don’t watch TV or read the papers."

Hey, Alex...My wife is a working mom. She holds down a full time job and still keeps her two little indians in line, as well as suffering the indulgences of her "heap big indian chief".

My mom was a working mom, once my youngest sister entered school, and still raised her 5 little indians into fairly well-adjusted adults...(well, at least 60% of us, and I ain't letting on which of the 40% of us are nuts!)

Sara Palin is the perfect candidate for VeeP-She's bright, intelligent, pretty, and has real down home American family values. I do believe she was pregnant with her 6 year old while she was mayor of Wassilla...just think of the pro-mom PR that her candidacy would bring to the McCain campaign!

No, Alex, I think she'd be the ideal candidate to reach out to working moms all over the country.

Sara Palin for VeeP!!!
