Happy Independence Day!

Today, we celebrate the birth of our great nation, 232 years old, and still going strong.

There has been a tremendous amount of sacrifice, not only by our founding fathers (who risked everything–life, liberty, riches, reputation), but still today, with our tremendous volunteer military.

While we are having our cookouts, sipping beer and soda, and eating our watermelon, stop for a moment and give thanks for those who risk their lives everyday, just so you and I can enjoy the right to do so. Let's spit our seeds in unadulterated freedom today...and, if you see a Soldier, Marine, Airman or Sailor, thank him or her for their service, patriotism and dedication to keeping our county safe from harm.

Happy Independence Day!

B.
