Funny stuff

I just finished reading this article (Rendell says it may be time for Bill Clinton to 'get over it') that I found on GrassrootsPA, and had to chuckle when I read the comments section:

I don't think Ed Rendell is over it!!!!!! He will never get re-elected as PA governor, it's Bob Casey's chance now!!!!!

Obviously, people that are clueless to the fact that Fast Eddie Rendell cannot run again as Governor shouldn't be so bold as to comment on a political subject.

I wonder if Barry Miller posted this?

Joe Hoeffel Gets Lap Dance?

An anonymous source has provided me with a photo of Joe "Mr. Potato Head" Hoeffel getting a lap dance in an undisclosed location in Philadelphia.

Actually, it's from a blog called "Philly Chit Chat" and it seems that the ladies from his old office were sorry to see him go. I, for one, welcome the idea of him going back, and as soon as humanly possible.

A Man of my Word

I was wrong, and, as I have said in the past, if I am, I'll fix it.

This weekend, I received an email from Athan from MCRC. It seems he took umbrage with my post from last week concerning Ken Davis and the clearing of the MCRC calendar. He went on to say that my post was inaccurate and he requested that I remove the post from the blog.

I've received a subsequent email today from Brittany Tressler, MCRC's new Director of Outreach and Communication, who assures me that the website server is, in fact, working poorly and that the new staff is busy reworking and upgrading the website.

Therefore, to the outgoing staff at MCRC, I say, I apologize.

I was wrong. The post is down. One thing to remember, though, is that perception is sometimes reality, and with the site going down on the 8th (I checked before leaving for the convention), it seemed suspicious.
